We're always nervous about selling bones here at Ci, so we've tested them pretty thoroughly with a range of dogs including small terriers, a collie, lurchers, a greyhound & some golden retrievers.
It was unanimous. The dogs REALLY loved them and none of us witnessed any splintering (they are air dried, which helps). Customer feedback has also been positive, so whilst we wouldn't recommend leaving your dog unattended with them, they seem to hold up very well.
Unlike the Ostrich Dino bones, these ones don't have the honeycomb structure inside, so they last even longer, and all the dogs seemed to really, really enjoy them. Even the dogs that weren't that 'into' chewing. After four weeks most were still going strong (albeit somewhat smaller!)
In short, they're a super-tasty, extremely long lasting, non smelly, hypoallergenic treat & with Christmas coming (and the need to keep dogs entertained) we thought they'd be a great addition to our range, but please feed under supervision. Please note these haven't been tested on extremely aggressive chewers.
